My goal is not just to treat your symptoms, but to understand the root cause of your health challenges and to help you restore health and balance on both physical and emotional levels. Integrative Medicine merges the practice of both conventional western medicine and complementary and alternative medicine to create treatments that are individualized to each patient’s condition and are developed to activate the body’s natural healing ability. My holistic approach to healing acknowledges all aspects of an individual – body, mind, and spirit.

Terri Turner I was the Girl Scout that did first aid and massaged away injuries. I became an athletic trainer and teacher of all things. I realized I wanted to be a doctor at 12 years old and I told my great aunt. She lived in Missouri and encouraged me to be an Osteopath. I did not know what an Osteopath embodied. In college, I looked at myself and realized I did not have all the tools for this goal, and to become a doctor I would have to give up my development on so many levels. I started nursing school at ICNE in Spokane WA. This program was a wholistic training in dealing with Mind/Body/Spirit challenging in taking care of all. After obtaining my BSN I moved to San Francisco bay area and worked as a house float doing all things. I realized in the middle of AIDES and heart/Kidney Transplants that I did want to return to training as a doctor and I wanted Integrative knowledge and practice as the Plantree model with a lot of education and outlining all options of care with a decision by each person with me to pick the best care plan and modalities for them. I became an Internal Medicine doctor so I could look with complexity and I also wanted to incorporate the manual manipulation of cranial, MFR, structural evaluation and function to care with osteopathy principles including diet, genetics, herbal, supplemental additives and a Functional orthomolecular approach.
I use the following modalitiesBody work (alternative medicine) or Massage therapyBody-based manipulative therapiesCranial sacral therapyFrequency Specific MicrocurrentFunctional medicineHerbal therapyManipulative therapy
