Amy Love Registered Nurse, Exercise Science, Functional MedicineLast year, my mother was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer at 80 years old. She struggled with obesity most of her life and had gained and lost 100 pounds multiple times. The yo-yo dieting had taken a toll on her mental and physical health. It was not her fault - she did the best she could with the advice she was given. I have since come to understand using food as medicine, not as the enemy. I have personally experienced the healing power that a low carb healthy fat lifestyle offers and have become passionate about sharing this approach with others. I have been an emergency room nurse for over 20 years. Every day I see band-aid solutions for chronic conditions, with patients finding no long term solutions for their discomforts. Most conventional practices don't have the time or resources to help. I can help. I have pursued training in Functional Medicine which, along with my extensive nursing experience and education in Exercise Science, allows me to help you find strategies in order to optimize your health, reclaim vitality, and transform your life.
